You
are invited to the Stockenträffen,
a sea kayaking and friendly gathering with sea kayakers from near
and far, August 27-29 (also some activities August 16-27) 2010
We
invite everyone interested in sea kayaking, beginners as well as
hardened kayak foxes, to spend a couple of days together, do some
good tours, exchange experiences, learns something new and have
a good time!

We
leave it mostly to you and the other participants to form the contents
of this gathering. The Saturday night dinner/BBQ is set, the rest
is up to you and the others. Feel free to do your own arrangements,
on the water or on land: Or join the things others have arranged
- see the programme!
The
Stockenträffen as such is free of charge! Food and lodging
will cost you, but they do at home, too... Some arrangements, such
as courses, may charge you a fee
The
Stockenträffen does not require booking or advance notice,
but to join the the Saturday night dinner/BBQ you had better reserve
a meal. See the programme
for Saturday.
Even
if we leave a lot up to you participants, there are some ready-made
arrangements etc. We publish a programme,
which will be continously updated. If you arrange anything which
is open for other participants, let us know and we will add it to
the programme. You can also
post it on the notice-board during the Stockenträffen,
but you will naturally get more response if you make it known in
advance.

NB:
PFDs are compulsory during
all kayaking starting from the Orust Kajak site. The PFD
must be worn at all times on the water. Exception granted
only for greenland roll training/competition at special
location and under lifeguard protection.
